For those GTA Online players struggling to complete one of the setup missions for the Diamond Casino Heist, here’s our guide on where to find the hacking device.

Although many thought GTA V would be entering its final years, it seems it may be sticking around for as long as 2025. For those who are either getting back into the Online, perhaps in preparation for the next-gen version, or maybe even joining for the first time, there are many ways to make money.

One of the best ways to make money fast in GTA Online is by completing the many Heists, one of which has been causing some problems for players.

The Heist set up mission, “Hacking Device,” is part of the Diamond Casino Heist DLC for GTA Online. The setup mission requires players to acquire a hacking device that can be done in two different ways.

Where is the hacking device in GTA Online?

FIB Building

Players can obtain it from the FIB Building, where corrupt FIB agents need to be taken out, stealing their security pass to gain access to the building and thereafter steal the hacking device from the upper floors of the building.

For this method, the GTA Online hacking device will be located inside a briefcase on the upper floors of the FIB Building, and if players are having trouble finding it, you can use the Sightseer app on the phone to let them know when they are close to it.

NOOSE HQ

For the other method, players will need to steal the hacking device from the NOOSE HQ, where they will need to search an area, find and kill a corrupt agent to steal their access card.

Once players gain this access card, use it to enter the server farm, and similarly to the FIB variant, players will need to find a briefcase containing the haking device, which the Sightseer app may help them do.

Whichever you choose to do, the mission will end with players needing to take the GTA Online hacking device to the Arcade. Well, that’s it for where to find the hacking device in GTA Online. For more guides, stay tuned to Charlie INTEL.
