Where to find Loot Llamas in Fortnite Season 5

Loot Llamas are among the rarest features in Fortnite, and now a leaker has revealed the locations where they are most likely to spawn so that you can find them easily on the Season 5 map.

We’re a month into Fortnite Season 5 and with Operation Snowdown well underway you’ll be facing off against a large number of opponents. Gear and weapons can be looted while exploring the map, but you can get some particularly useful supplies from Loot Llamas.

These are rare so you’ll be lucky to find one in a match, but that’s what makes them so highly sought-after. If you break one open, then you can collect some ammo, resources, and consumables of different varieties for yourself.

Loot Llamas spawn in random locations which makes them difficult to come across. One Fortnite leaker has figured out where you’re most likely to find them on the map.

This information came from reliable Fortnite leaker HYPEX, who has played the game enough times to figure out the most common spawn locations for Supply Llamas. They then created a map that highlights these areas.

“Made something to draw the spawn location of 450 llamas from 90 matches using my replays, the arrows show the most common spots,” the Leaker stated on Twitter, alongside an image of the map.

According to the map, these are the most common Loot Llama locations in Fortnite:

  1. On the hill that’s east of Craggy Cliffs.
  2. Just off the main road northwest of Retail Row.
  3. Near the road that leads east out of Catty Corner.
  4. At the very bottom of the map, southeast of Misty Meadows.

HYPEX explained that creating the map was “all done auto.” You can check it out in the Twitter post below.

Keep in mind that this doesn’t ensure you have a 100% chance of finding Loot Llamas in these locations every single time. They might spawn elsewhere, but these four areas have the highest chance of containing them in general.

Don’t forget that you’re not going to be the only one looking for these Llamas either. Due to their rarity, Supply Llamas are some of the most desirable features in Fortnite, and you’ll face fierce competition from other players who also want to get themselves some gear. So be ready for a fight.

Operation Snowdown is ongoing until January 5, 2021. There is a plethora of new content for you to find such as new weapons and cosmetics, so keep an eye out for those while hunting for Loot Llamas on the map.
