Rockstar has brought a plethora of exciting new content to GTA Online in the new Halloween event, including horror movie-inspired serial killers. Here’s where you can find these Slashers in GTA Online.
GTA Online has received a ton of spooky new content to help players get into the Halloween spirit, including the Phantom Car based on Stephen King’s novel Christine. There are also other horror movie-inspired additions.
Killer NPCs known as Slashers will attempt to take you out, and they’re inspired by classic horror villains like Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Pennywise, and more. You’ll have to be careful if you run into one.
Here’s how you can find Slashers in the GTA Online Halloween event.
GTA Online Slasher locations
There are 4 different Slashers you can encounter in GTA Online, and each of them is inspired by a different horror movie icon. However, you’ll need to meet certain conditions before you can run into them.
Here are all the requirements:
- You must be in free-roam
- 16 minutes must have passed since joining the session
- It must be between 9 PM and 5 AM during in-game time
- You cannot travel on the water, in flight, weaponized, or in special vehicles
If you’ve met these conditions, then you’ll be able to encounter the Slashers. Each of them spawns within a specific part of the GTA Online map, and we’ll go over all of their locations.

Psycho Slasher location
Driver Slasher location
Killer Slasher location
How to kill Slashers in GTA Online
If a Slasher spawns nearby, you’ll be notified about their presence by a unique sound effect. You can then battle the enemy but this will be a difficult task, as they are harder to kill than normal NPCs.
Here’s how you can take them down:
- Launch GTA Online
- Purchase and equip some heavy weapons like a rocket launcher, grenade launcher, and minigun, along with some throwables such as Molotovs
- Meet the prerequisites and visit the spawn locations of a Slasher
- Keep moving around the area until the enemy spawns
- Keep your distance while you chip away at their health
Eventually, you’ll be able to take them down and then you’ll get an exclusive Twilight Knife t-shirt as a reward on November 1.
If you’re eager to battle Slashers in GTA Online, then follow these instructions above and have a violent Halloween!

How to slide in Fortnite Chapter 3
Fortnite’s newest mechanic that lets you slide across the map. Here’s how to do it, along with details on how to slide cancel.
Epic Games added a slide mechanic in Fortnite Chapter 3, and here’s everything you need to know about it, including how to cancel slides during combat.
There are many changes to sort through in Fortnite Chapter 3. We have a new Battle Pass featuring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Spider-Man as unlockable skins, and some new mechanics to give players an advantage in battle.
One of these allows players to slide across the map while running. This feature has been a part of games like Apex Legends for a long time and is now finally in Fortnite. It’s also fairly easy to pull off during combat.
Here’s everything you need to know about sliding in Fortnite.
How to slide in Fortnite on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC
You can slide in Fortnite by running and pressing the crouch button. As we said before, this isn’t too difficult to do during combat, and you just need to know which button to press..
Here are the default slide buttons on all platforms:
- PS4/ PS5: Press the right analogue stick down
- Xbox One/ Xbox Series X: Press the right analogue stick down
- Nintendo Switch: Press the right control stick down
- PC: Press the CTRL key
While this is the default crouch button, it’s important to note that this may not apply if you have changed it in your keybinding settings. So you’ll need to remember what button it is or reset it to the default settings.
How To slide cancel in Fortnite
Sometimes you might accidentally start sliding when you didn’t intend to, and this could seriously harm you during a gunfight. Luckily, the game lets you cancel the animation by pressing the crouch button a second time.
This will instantly get your character back into the running position. You can only slide down steep slopes such as hills, mountains, and slanting rooftops. Since you can use your weapon while sliding, this can be useful in battles.
You can also change the “slide hold time” when playing on a controller. This changes the duration for which you need to hold the crouch button to get your character to begin sliding.

Although they aren’t the most popular Legend in the game, Crypto has always been a fan-favorite when it comes to personality and style. The Korean hacker was one of the first new Legends to drop, being introduced in Season 3 along with World’s Edge.
Despite being introduced so early, we have yet to see his Heirloom, well, until now.
Apex Legends Crypto Heirloom leak
The leaker responsible for Crypto’s Heirloom leaks is Thordan Smash. This is a very reliable source as they have been involved in several leaks that have come to fruition such as Ash’s abilities prior to Season 11.
In their latest video, they showed off footage of Crypto’s Heirloom from the player’s perspective. The Heirloom takes the form of a retracting Korean Jikdo sword. The version of Crypto’s Heirloom shown in the video is clearly unfinished as it doesn’t possess any textures or colors.
Having said that, we can probably expect the Jikdo to have the green and white pallet Crypto is known for.
We also got to see some interesting animations in the video. It seems the Jikdo will be retractable, and when Crypto pulls it out, it will extend almost like a lightsaber.
Crypto holds the Heirloom like a sword and for those who love Heirloom designs that actually look like weapons, this one is definitely for you.
That’s all on Crypto’s Heirloom leaks, for more on Apex Legends be sure to check out when Apex Legends’ third Anniversary is.
