Where to find the Big Chill Grenade Launcher in Fortnite Season 5

Epic Games has brought along The Big Chill Grenade Launcher in the latest update for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5.

Epic Games has brought a new exotic weapon to Fortnite Season 5. The Big Chill Grenade Launcher is one of the latest additions to the game, and here’s how you can get it for yourself.

With Fortnite Chapter 2- Season 5 well underway, Epic Games released the first update on December 15. This has brought some new content to the Battle Royale title, such as winter-themed skins, NPCs, and new weapons available in the game.

The Exotic Weapon’s class is one of the many new additions that came with Season 5’s launch. Other than the Dragon’s Breath Sniper, the latest update has introduced another new Exotic gun called The Big Chill.

But how do you get the new weapon? Well, it comes courtesy of a brand new NPC called Snowmando.

Where to find the Big Chill in Fortnite

As with the other Exotic Weapons, you will have to purchase it from an NPC. You need to visit the new winter-themed character called Snowmando. He can be found on the snow-covered mountains that are near Catty Corner.

There will be a bright orange Snow Cones van near this character. We’ve marked his location on the map below:

Here’s how you can get The Big Chill:

  1. Visit the snow-covered mountains on the southeast of the map
  2. Talk with the NPC Snowmando and select The Big Chill option
  3. Click again to purchase the weapon

The Big Chill will cost 1455 Gold Bars, making it the most expensive Exotic weapon in Fortnite Season 5.

It’s fitting that Fortnite has a new Snowball Launcher just in time for Winterfest 2020. This weapon can deal 83 damage per hit to your opponents as you fire chiller grenades at them.

If you decide to go for this weapon, then know that the price isn’t the only obstacle. Snowmando’s van is becoming a hotspot for players to visit, so you should get ready for a fight. We recommend landing nearby and getting some great gear together before you go.

Exotic weapons are extremely costly, but they will probably become easier to obtain as the season goes on. There is a plethora of exciting new content in Fortnite Season 5, and Epic Games keep adding more. We’re eager to see what they have planned next.

After the Alien invasion arrived, many changes came to Fortnite Island. Holly Hedges has been changed to Holly Hatchery, and it’s the area that you’ll need to visit for this Legendary Quest.

This location has changed into a farm for Alien Eggs in Season 7, and there’s a low gravity biome in the area. Head over there, and look for little green orbs that are sprouting out of the ground.

You can also check the southwest portion of the purple crater in the center of the map.

You only need to mark one Alien Egg so make your way to either one of these locations. After you come across one, you can mark it by pinging its location on your map. So use the mouse scroll, or the left D-pad button.

Once that’s done, you’ll earn a total of 30,000 XP. You can also complete the rest of the weekly challenges to earn some extra XP and Battle Stars.
