Pine Timbers in Fortnite

Fortnite’s latest Quests ask players to knock down Timber Pines. This challenge is easy in theory, but if you don’t know what you’re looking for it may prove to be difficult. Thankfully, we’ve got everything you need to cross this task off your list.

Fortnite Chapter 3 is now well underway, kicking off all the way back on December 5, 2021. Players who watched the season trailer will remember seeing Timber Pines when Epic teased major weather effects coming to the game.

Now, players are tasked with locating five of these giant trees and hacking them down for one of the game’s latest Quests. If you’re not sure what you’re looking for, or where to find them, we’ve got everything you need.

Where to find Timber Pines in Fortnite

Timber Pines are relatively easy to find in Fortnite. What you’re looking for are the gigantic redwood trees that are scattered across the map. Specifically, they’re found anywhere that snow is on the ground, so stick to the northwest side of the island.

The best place to go is Logjam Lumberyard, as it is surrounded by clumps of these mammoth trees, meaning you’ll be able to complete this challenge in one go.

If you’re not sure where you’re going, we’ve marked it on the map below.

While this will be the best place to land, be prepared for combat as others will have the same idea. This means you’ll likely need to fight off enemies to complete this task, but the good news is you don’t need to knock down all five trees in one match.
