Where to plant wiretaps at key locations for Fortnite Week 8 Quests

Fortnite Season 7’s Week 8 Quests task players with planting wiretaps at three key locations, so here’s how to do it.

Every week, Epic Games release a batch of Legendary and Epic Quests to allow players to earn a ton of XP. By completing these every week, you’ll have no trouble earning Battle Stars and finishing the Season 7 Battle Pass.

With the arrival of the 17.21 update, we’re now in Week 8, and players are tasked with planting three wiretraps at key locations. Here’s how to plant the wiretraps, and all of the key locations that you can plant them.

Fortnite Week 8 Wiretap locations

There are clusters of wiretaps in five key locations on the Fortnite Season 7 map. Inside each of these POIs are three wiretaps, so with a bit of luck, you should only have to visit one of the locations.

The wiretaps will be marked by a transparent blue box. Simply approach it and press the interact button and the wiretap will be placed. Do this twice more, and you’ll get 30,000 XP.

You can find wiretaps in these locations:

1. Dinky Dish
2. Dockside Dish
3. Defiant Dish
4. Eastern house in Lazy Lake
5. Tunnel east of Catty Corner

Dinky Dish Fortnite wiretap locations

1. Base of the tall yellow radio tower, on the east side
2. Base of the large radar dish
3. Base of the smaller yellow radio tower, in the north-west corner

As with all of the wiretaps, by landing in one location you can complete all of the Quest.

Dockside Dish Fortnite wiretap locations

1. Base of the large radar dish
2. Base of the large green radio tower, on the west side
3. Base of the small green radio tower, on the east side

Defiant Dish Fortnite wiretap locations

1. Base of the blue radio tower in the eastern building
2. Base of the large radar dish
3. Base of the blue radio tower at the south side

Lazy Lake Fortnite wiretap locations

1. By the benches at the north side of Lazy Lake’s eastern house
2. By the wall west of the swimming pool
3. By the hedges east of the swimming pool

Tunnel east of Catty Corner Fortnite wiretap locations

1. On the outside wall of the office, at the north side
2. By a rock on the east side of the fence
3. Underneath the stairs by the mysterious door
