Will CoD Points carry over to Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2?
Wondering whether your CoD Points from Vanguard and Warzone will carry over to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0? Here’s everything you need to know.
Warzone and Vanguard‘s seasonal content is coming to an end, with the Season 5 Reloaded update being the last major update for both games.
With that said, players are directing their attention to the future of Call of Duty, with Modern Warfare 2 launching on October 28, and Warzone 2.0 along with the new DMZ mode set to arrive just a month later on November 16.
While it’s clear that Warzone 2.0 will bring an inventory reset, some are wondering what will happen to their CoD Points.
Will CoD Points carry over to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2?
The answer is yes, all of your CoD Points will indeed carry over from Vanguard and Warzone to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0. This is how it has worked in previous years, so unless Activision makes a major change to how it has worked, the player’s CoD Points will transfer.
CoD Points are purchased by players with real money and can be used to purchase cosmetics from the store, so it would be a shame if they didn’t carry over.
This will be a great relief for those who have been saving up their CoD Points for something special, or even for those who have some leftover currency from the Battle Pass.
If you haven’t been saving up, or perhaps have been thinking about getting CoD Points but have been hesitant as you weren’t sure if they would carry over, this should help you decide whether you want to purchase some to spend or save them instead.
Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 are no doubt going to bring some brand-new cosmetics to the store for players to purchase, so having CoD Points handy will be great for getting some early skins to show off.
