Call of Duty: Vanguard

New Vanguard & Warzone Season 1 Operators give players special XP boost

Players can expect to receive special weapon XP bonuses when using the new Season 1 Operators in Vanguard and Warzone.

Operator Francis Season 1

Coinciding with a new mechanic introduced in Vanguard, Season 1’s new operators will give players a unique XP boost in both Vanguard and Warzone Pacific.

Since Vanguard’s release, players have gotten the chance to become familiar with all of the Operators in the game. Regardless of which Operator is your personal favorite, each brings something unique to the table.

Vanguard players discovered that each Operator had a favorite weapon that would result in earning additional XP when both are in use. Vanguard players will be happy to hear that the new Operators introduced in Season 1 also have favorite weapons.

Operators Francis & Lewis

Operator Lewis Season 1

The favorite weapon bonus feature was a fantastic new introduction to the Call of Duty series. So far, it has been well-received by players. As the STG44 cemented itself as a must-use weapon, players gravitated toward Operator Roland in order to level up the Assault Rifle at a faster pace.

As of now, we know that two of the new Operators coming in Season 1 will also have their own favorite weapons. Vanguard and Warzone Pacific players will get to play as Francis “Kai” Lanakila and Lewis Howard.

Francis’ favorite weapon is the Cooper Carbine while Lewis’ favorite weapon is the Gorenko Sniper Rifle.

These two weapons are two of the five new weapons available in the Season 1 Vanguard and Warzone Pacific update. This is great news for players looking to quickly level up these new inclusions.

It’s safe to say that the third new Operator may also have a favorite weapon set to appear in Season 1. Players can also expect a ton of new skins for their favorite Operators arriving in the first season of Vanguard.

One of these skins has caused quite a storm already. Players have pointed out that one of the new skins is eerily similar to Warzone’s infamous Roze skin.

Best Automaton loadout for Warzone Pacific Caldera

Here are the attachments and perks you need to equip to make the best Automaton loadout for Warzone Pacific Caldera.

Best Automaton loadout warzone pacific

The Automaton is one of the most popular Assault Rifle choices in Vanguard Multiplayer. Luckily, its stellar qualities can also shine in Warzone Pacific if you craft the best Automaton loadout possible.

Warzone players will have to get used to a number of changes coming to Call of Duty’s Battle Royale. Understandably, the arrival of a new map has been the primary focus. However, one key element involving weapon loadouts has slipped under the radar.

Thanks to Vanguard’s integration into Warzone, players will now be able to equip their Vanguard weapons with ten different attachments. Past iterations of Warzone only let players equip a limited amount of attachments.

With that being said, here are the ten attachments you’ll need to make the Automaton an unstoppable force.

Best Automaton attachments for Warzone Pacific

Automaton Warzone Pacific attachments
  • Muzzle: Mercury Silencer
  • Barrel: ZAC 600mm BFA
  • Optic: G16 2.5x
  • Stock: Anastasia Padded
  • Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
  • Magazine: 6.5mm Sakura 75 Round Drum
  • Ammunition: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Pine Tar Grip
  • Perk: Frenzy
  • Perk 2: Fully Loaded

Although the Automaton doesn’t boast the fastest TTK amongst Assault Rifles, it is certainly one of the easiest to control. The ZAC 600mm BFA barrel, Anastasia Padded stock, Carver Foregrip, and Pine Tar Grip all work toward improving accuracy by steadying the weapon.

As with most Warzone loadouts, increased magazine size is highly-recommended. The 6.5mm Sakura 75 Round Drum will allow you to knock and wipe several players. Fully Loaded will put you in the best position to win by starting you with maximum ammo. Lengthened will increase bullet velocity, making the Automaton a lethal choice.

With Frenzy, players can move from gunfight to gunfight with confidence as the Perk will boost health regeneration following a kill. Lastly, the Mercury Silencer will suppress your fire on the map and improve accuracy at the cost of slightly reducing damage range.

How to unlock the Automaton in Vanguard and Warzone Pacific

Automaton Warzone Pacific

It remains to be seen if Warzone exclusive players will have to unlock the Automaton or if they will receive it at the start of their Warzone Pacific journey.

In Vanguard, the Automaton is a very accessible weapon and it becomes available at Rank 8. Many players have already sufficiently leveled up the weapon through Vanguard Multiplayer, making it the ideal choice for early Warzone success.

Warzone Pacific alternatives to Automaton

Long-range Assault Rifles are going to be a popular choice across Caldera. With a ton of open space on the map, these weapons will certainly excel. If the Automaton isn’t your first choice then you may want to consider the BAR. It offers less mobility but more firepower.

If you prefer to use the Sniper Rifle and Submachine Gun combo then the Kar98k and PPSH-41 are the perfect pair.

As players continue to hit Caldera’s glistening shores, the weapon meta is certainly going to shift. Stay tuned to Charlie INTEL for all of the latest Warzone Pacific Season 1 news.

A clip from the video shows The Doc aiming at a parachuting player and hitting nearly every shot with the Automaton. After quickly disposing of the player, Doc states, “This Automaton has zero recoil.”

His squad asked what attachments he was using, and in classic Doc fashion, he showed off his Automaton loadout. The attachments and perks Dr DisRespect uses are as follows:

  • Muzzle: G28 Compensator
  • Barrel: ZAC 600mm BFA
  • Optic: G16 2.5x
