Does XDefiant have Team Deathmatch?
UbisoftXDefiant offers a wide variety of game modes for players to enjoy. As an FPS game, many are curious whether Ubisoft’s title includes the classic Team Deathmatch mode, so here’s all you need to know.
Similar to other FPS titles, XDefiant retains a ton of game modes players can hop into to enjoy. While some players love the objective-based modes, not of all them are looking to complete in-game objectives.
That’s where Team Deathmatch stands out from the rest. Keeping the team aspect, this mode also allows players to focus on a single objective. But, does XDefiant offer Team Deathmatch? Here’s all you need to know.
Is Team Deathmatch coming to XDefiant?
The XDefiant devs have announced that Team Deathmatch will be added on June 21, 2024, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST. This was confirmed in an X post shared by the devs on June 18, 2024.
XDefiant: Team Deathmatch explained
XDefiant’s Team Deathmatch is a game mode in which two teams compete to achieve the highest number of kills and reach the threshold, usually set to 75 or 100. We’ll be sure to update this section once XDefiant devs announce the mode’s threshold.
This mode doesn’t involve any in-game objectives that players capture or escort. Instead, it focuses solely on eliminating opponents and achieving kill streaks.
By providing a dedicated TDM mode, players can fully indulge their preference for direct combat without compromising other game modes’ experience, something that players have complained about, where players in objective-based modes ignored the in-game tasks and played as if it were Team Deathmatch.
All in all, that’s everything you need to know about Team Deathmatch in XDefiant. Be sure to have the best controller settings and audio setup to easily detect enemies across any map and earn as many kills as possible in TDM.
