Zombies pause feature

One of the most requested additions to Vanguard Zombies has finally been addressed by the devs who promise that they are working on implementing a pause feature into the game.

Fans of the Zombies game mode have been asking for a pause feature since the moment Vanguard Zombies was released. Treyarch’s previous statement on the matter mentioned that the feature was in development but no timetable was given, leaving fans desperate for a release window.

Since the reveal of Vanguard Season 2 Reloaded content, players were finally given confirmation about a release date for the feature.

It seems all the pestering has paid off as fans are set to receive their most asked-for feature by a long shot.

In Black Ops Cold War, players were able to easily pause the game while in a private match with friends or solo game, making it a lot easier to take a break, which previously required players to assign a zombie to a player while the other makes a break for the toilet.

According to the latest blog by Call of Duty on Vanguard and Warzone Season 2 Reloaded, players will be able to pause their Zombies games “in Solo matches and single-player Private matches,” as of March 23, when the update goes live.

There are some rules to this pause feature though, as the devs state that players “will be able to pause for up to two hours collectively per match on dedicated servers, and can continue to pause indefinitely in Offline/Local matches.”

This will no doubt please the fans who have been waiting for the feature for sometime now, increasing the quality of life for the mode.
